A year ago, I saw the Innocence and Experience tour, and boy am I glad I saw this show. It was a combination of their beautiful music, art, film, and multimedia brilliance in a presentation going back to their roots of violence and turmoil. The music brilliantly and sadly leaves us with hope and knowledge.
I listened to Bono speak of hope and respect for the USA post-election. A year has passed, and hits of the Joshua Tree tour were wonderful. We will heed the advice of "Lincoln's ghost" as was mentioned in the song.
Two plus hours of awesome music, deeper album cuts, and delightful staging presentation heretofore not seen in 40 years of concert attendance. We will survive to be an even stronger nation that embraces all our brothers and sisters, as we face challenges from extreme hate groups.
